Econ Bites: Jason Aimone on how economic behavior can shape our understanding of the brain

Dr. Siyu Wang spoke with Dr. Jason Aimone about how neuroscientific discoveries can constrain and guide models of economics as part of ISEG’s ongoing “Economics Bites on the Go” series.

Dr. Aimone is a neuroeconomist and behavioral economist. He studies how economic behavior can shape our understanding of the brain, and how neuroscientific discoveries can constrain and guide models of economics. He researches on the interdisciplinary field which combines neuroscience, experimental economics, and cognitive and social psychology. Not only his methodology is innovative, the topics he works on include lying, betrayal aversion, and the criminal justice system.
